    this is a selection of greenhouse sketches, alternate versions,
unused works, and so on which have piled up over the last couple of
years. i have come to enjoy them a lot, but do not care to overwork
them or force them into a state of "true completion," as that would
ultimately turn them into another thing.

    some of my favorite things authored by my friends are sketches.
i am sure it can be frustrating for them to hear that, but there is
something really beautiful and free about that initial idea-to-page
step. i feel most people understand that. increasingly, i have been
embracing things being "not done." my recent-as-of-writing k2 album
"unrealistc project roadmap" is fundamentally incomplete, forced by
a deadline and simulated production schedule to have its ideas left
concise and raw. many of my favorite media works were created under
pressure and with immense passion.
